We are the story we decide to tell ourselves daily

About Mike Fana
For over a decade, Mike has worked with students to strengthen one critical skill: decision-making.

Focus Behind the Work
Growing up as an immigrant child adapting to new environments, Mike learned early that daily decisions carried real consequences. Navigating unfamiliar settings required awareness, emotional control, and intentional thinking.
Those early experiences shaped his belief that awareness must come before choice — and that students benefit most when they understand how focus, self-talk, and emotions influence behavior.
Professional Background

Mike studied Business at Berklee College. At a pivotal moment in his life, Mike was invited to Los Angeles for an audition opportunity connected to America’s Got Talent. During that same period, he was also asked to speak to a group of incarcerated teenagers in Orlando, Florida. Faced with two very different opportunities, he chose to return to Florida and spend time with the students who needed encouragement and guidance the most.
That decision became what Mike later calls his Anatoliah moment — the moment he chose to use his voice not simply to perform, but to help young people strengthen their thinking, confidence, and decisions.

Mike’s mission is to help students realize that what they focus on, how they speak to themselves, and how they manage their emotions will ultimately shape the decisions that define their future.

Focus & Specialization

Since 2012, Mike has worked with students nationwide, guiding structured conversations around focus, self-talk, emotional awareness, and accountability. His work is intentionally centered on middle school students — a formative stage where daily decisions begin shaping long-term identity, behavior, and leadership patterns.
